Walled Garden Glamping

Here’s what some lovely people have to say about glamping at PKG.

We had a wonderful stay at PKG, it is a beautiful venue. The tents are incredibly cosy (complete with hot water bottles and gingham duvets), the bathroom facilities are great and the breakfast is delicious. The kitchen is beautifully set up and very well equipped, especially considering it is in a field! We had a fabulous bbq there with veg from the kitchen garden and it was lovely. Annie and the team looked after us really well. Make sure you book in to eat at the restaurant - the food is excellent. A really special place.

I can not recommend this venue highly enough. A warm welcome, a wonderful space, beautiful bell tents, thoughtful touches and all in your own private oasis. Simply a magical place !

Beautiful glamping site, fabulous to have a private space but also to be able to use the restaurant too. Magical weekend.

We went to the walled garden for my best friends stag. We were a mixed group with ages ranging from 30 to 73. The walled garden is a superb place to stay. The pictures really don’t do the place justice. The facilities are excellent with everything you could need for a group camping holiday and Piers was always on hand so if there was anything we needed it would have been sorted. Sitting round the campfire in the orchard with friends telling stories etc was brilliant. The breakfasts served in the restaurant were tasty and extremely high quality.

We spent the weekend at the Walled Garden with about 20 friends for a 30th Birthday. The setting was wonderful, with the fruit trees in the camping ground in full blossom! The camp ground is excellent, with a good size BBQ and undercover dining table with seating which was more than big enough for our group. The fire pit was great as well, with a good supply of wood which lasted the weekend. The bathroom and food preparation facilities were good too, with enough utensils and space to cook up some pretty good grub. The tents were very comfortable, with proper foam mattresses and bedding (all very clean and fresh), and the addition of hot water bottles (provided by the hosts) was very welcome, and necessary in early May! The breakfast up at the top of the walled garden (in the restaurant was delicious, especially the mushrooms! And last but not least, the hosts (we only met Piers) were very welcoming and helpful. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here!

Magical place, well equipped and comfortable. Loved the fire in the evening and the peace and tranquility of it all. We walked to the local pub along the Ox Drive for lunch - wonderful.

A fantastic venue, set in beautiful countryside. Facilities were great as were tents and huts. The main eating area provided a brilliant setting for everyone to get together, with the fire going at night it created an amazing atmosphere. We all loved it there and definitely recommend a visit.
